Health Benefits of Chocolate

The researchers believe that certain types of flavanol called epicatechin may be responsible for the health benefits of chocolate. What they found was flavanols which causes the body to produce nitric oxide which helps relax the smooth muscle in the walls of blood vessels to improve blood flow and reduce blood pressure.
